Refund Policy

At Willowcrest Equestrian Ltd., we are committed to delivering exceptional services and products to our clients. However, due to the nature of our business and the costs associated with equestrian services, we maintain a No Refund Policy on all transactions. By making a purchase or booking a service with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

This policy applies to all products, services, lessons, training sessions, events, bookings, and any other transactions made on our website or in person at our facility.

1. No Refunds

All transactions are final. Once a purchase is completed or a service has been rendered, Willowcrest Equestrian Ltd. does not provide refunds. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Training sessions (private, group, or clinic-based)

  • Boarding services

  • Equestrian lessons

  • Event tickets and registrations

  • Product purchases (including tack, equipment, apparel, etc.)

  • Deposits and pre-payments for future services

Please be certain about your purchase and scheduling decisions, as we cannot offer refunds under any circumstances unless otherwise noted in this policy.

2. Exceptions to the No Refund Policy

While our general policy is no refunds, certain exceptions may apply in specific situations, where required by applicable law or in certain extraordinary circumstances:

  • Defective Products or Services: If a product purchased from Willowcrest Equestrian Ltd. is found to be defective or not as described, and we are unable to provide a replacement or alternative solution, we may issue a refund or credit at our discretion. This does not apply to services that have already been rendered or products that have been used.

  • Cancellations: If you are unable to attend a scheduled event, session, or lesson, we may allow rescheduling or provide a credit for future services, provided you cancel or request changes within a reasonable time frame (usually within 24 to 48 hours prior to the scheduled event). The exact cancellation or rescheduling policy will be provided at the time of booking. Please refer to our cancellation policy for more details.

  • Legal Compliance: In rare circumstances, if required by Canadian law, we may offer a refund or credit.

Each request for an exception will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and we reserve the right to decline requests at our discretion.

3. Change of Mind

We do not issue refunds for change of mind or customer dissatisfaction with services rendered, lessons attended, or events booked. If you decide that the service is not suitable after it has been rendered or completed, we will not offer any form of compensation.

For example, if you attend a training session or lesson and feel it does not meet your expectations, no refund will be issued. We encourage you to carefully assess your needs and expectations before making a commitment to any service.

4. Cancellation of Services and Events

  • Cancellation by Willowcrest Equestrian Ltd.: In the unlikely event that Willowcrest Equestrian Ltd. must cancel or reschedule a service or event, we will notify you as soon as possible. In this case, we may offer a full refund or the option to reschedule the service or event, depending on the circumstances.

  • Cancellation by You: If you cancel a service, booking, or event after payment has been made, you will be subject to the cancellation terms outlined at the time of booking. Our general cancellation policy requires at least 24-48 hours' notice to reschedule or receive a credit. Cancellations made after this time will not be eligible for a refund or credit.

5. Transfer of Services

If you are unable to attend a service, lesson, or event for any reason, we may, at our discretion, offer the option to transfer the booking to another individual or reschedule the service. This option is subject to availability and must be arranged directly with Willowcrest Equestrian Ltd.

Transfers are not guaranteed and are subject to availability of dates, space, and other factors. You will need to contact us to confirm any potential transfers. The transfer must take place within a reasonable time frame, typically within a few weeks of the original booking date.

6. Deposits and Prepayments

In some cases, we may require a deposit or prepayment to secure a booking, event registration, or product order. These deposits are non-refundable, except under the specific circumstances outlined in our cancellation or refund exceptions.

For any service that requires a deposit, the remaining balance may be subject to the same No Refund Policy once the service has commenced.

7. Service Disputes and Complaints

If you feel that there is an issue with the services you have received, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible. We are committed to resolving disputes and ensuring that our clients are satisfied with the services provided.

However, no refunds will be issued for services that have been fully rendered or for dissatisfaction with services rendered once they are completed. In cases where services were provided but not up to standard, we will offer a service credit or an alternative session at our discretion.

8. Refund Processing

For those few exceptions where a refund is issued, the refund will be processed in the same manner as the original payment. Please note that refunds may take several business days to be processed and reflected in your account. Depending on your bank or payment processor, the refund may take up to 10 business days to appear.
